WORTHING town centre virtually ground to a halt today (Monday, April 6) reeling under a double dose of roadworks.

Temporary lights in Chapel Road are causing a huge logjam in both directions, particularly affecting bus services, and a second bout of roadworks in High Street completed the misery, with major delays getting in and out of town.
