TRAVEL NEWS: East Preston level crossing closed due to collision involving double-decker bus

The level crossing in East Preston is closed due to a collision earlier this morning (November 22) involving a double-decker bus.

A spokesman from Sussex Police said the double-decker bus was ‘struck’ by the level crossing barrier, just before 7am, due to the strong winds this morning, by the junction with Roundstone Lane.

No injuries were reported.

British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the incident and confirmed the bus collided with the level crossing.
