TRAVEL NEWS: Railway delays due to signalling and sickness
Train passengers have been faced with delays across Sussex this morning due to a continuing shortage of train crew and a signalling problem at Fratton.
Southern Railway said the problem was causing delays of up to 15 minutes for trains to and from Portsmouth Harbour, but all lines are now open.
Other delays include:
The 10.17am London Victoria to Littlehampton is due at 11.56am and will terminate at Haywards Heath, due to a shortage of train crew.
The 10.22am Brighton train to Lewes is cancelled, also due to a shortage of train crew.
Also cancelled is the 10.32am Southampton Central to Brighton, the 10.58am Lewes to Brighton, and the 11.03am Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour, due to a shortage of train conductors.
