Travel update: A27 at Lancing open

There is some minor disruption on the A27 at Lancing this morning (September 1), which has now reopened.

One lane on the A27 is closed westbound between the A283 Shoreham flyover and A2025 Grinstead Lane (Lancing Manor roundabout).

Traffic is coping well on the road this morning (7.40am) as lane one (of two) westbound remains closed for ongoing investigation work. There is a 40mph speed limit in place.

There are currently delays of around ten minutes however normal traffic conditions are expected from midday, according to Highways England.

The eastbound carriageway is now fully open.

The A27 westbound entry slip from the A283 is closed, and the road is expected to re-open from midday.
