Travellers told to leave Lancing Beach Green
ADUR District Council has today (Wednesday, July 6) served a notice of direction ordering travellers off Beach Green, Lancing.
The group arrived on the green at the end of June.
Council spokeswoman, Wendy Knight, said: “Adur council is preparing a court summons and shall serve this unless, of course, the travellers move off site.”
Today, council officers carried out a welfare audit on the site and found no issues.
The travellers have had a skip provided for them and have access to water.
