Trip of a lifetime

Kay Batting, of West Parade, had always wanted to fly in a helicopter.

Last Friday she soared above the heads of the crowds flocking to the popular annual airshow.

Last year Kay looked in vain for booking details for Airbourne flights. This year a neighbour whose daughter had the right contacts arranged a free trip for her.

Kay said: "It cost me nothing and I was treated like Royalty!

"It was absolutely marvellous. We had a wonderful view of Eastbourne."
