Two in courtcharged withdamaging pub

TWO men will be appearing before Hastings Magistrates court on Friday, June 10 following damage to the Bell pub in Rye on April 15.

Jack Carroll, 20, of Tram Road, Rye Harbour, has been charged with three counts of criminal damage, in relation to a glass and two pub windows.

James Colston, 19, of South Undercliff, Rye, is charged with one count of criminal damage in relation to a a plant pot of a nearby guest house.

They are both charged under Section 4a of the Public Order Act, for causing intentional harrassment, alarm and distress to the landlord.
