The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a baby, it was announced today.
The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and The Prince of Wales are all delighted with the news, according to a spokesman.
St James’s Palace said in a statement that the Duchess had been treated in a private hospital for hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness.
The statement went on to say: “As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.”
