POLICE were called to Clifton Road in Worthing yesterday after a three-year-old girl was hit by a car (Thursday, June 20).
The collision happened at 4.10pm, with the girl suffering a leg injury.
The road was closed while police and paramedics dealt with the incident, and the girl was taken to Worthing Hospital.
It re-opened a short while after.
