UPDATE: South Farm Road assault
A MAN sustained minor injuries following an assault in South Farm Road, Worthing yesterday (Thursday, August 1).
Police were called to the scene at 3.54pm yesterday, following reports a 27-year-old man had sustained life-threatening injuries.
He was transferred to Southampton General Hospital for treatment, as it was initially thought he had sustained serious head injuries,
But upon further examination, he was found to only have minor cuts and bruising.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1196.
