VIDEO: Family offers reward for missing cat

A FAMILY desperate to find its missing pet cat took to Worthing town centre earlier today to extend the search.

Mother-of-two Kirsche Elms was joined by relatives wearing cat masks and ‘help us find Millie’ t-shirts, as well as town crier Bob Smytherman, in South Street Square.

The family’s cat Millie, a striped tabby cat with a white triangle on its face, disappeared from its home in The Oval, Tarring, on January 30.

Kirsche said: “She belongs home with her brother (Stampy the cat) and family. There’s been a real community initiative. Everyone’s been really upset by it. There’s been a lot of kind words and support.

“She means everything. She’s an adorable little sweetheart.”

The Elms’s rescued Stampy and Millie in December. The cat is micro-chipped but Kirsche believes if someone has taken it in they might not have checked for it.

The family is offering a £200 for the return of the cat.
