VIDEO: Filling Worthing's pothole problem

DURING the last month pothole repair teams have been on patrol throughout Worthing.

The team has been recording and monitoring details of the severity of each pothole before deciding if repairs can be made or if resurfacing is needed.

Pothole patrollers visit a variety of roads on a regular basis, from rural stretches to residential streets, assessing the need for repairs.

On top of this, there is a list of the most notorious potholes which people in Worthing have complained about.

These are then placed in order of priority and a team of contractors is dispatched to rid the county of the crater-filled roads.
