VIDEO: Firefighters deal with late-night pub blaze

Four fire engines were sent to deal with a fire at a Shoreham pub late last night.

Firefighters hurried to the Bridge Inn in High Street in Shoreham where a fire had broken out in the basement.

Called at 11.08pm, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the fire was out just under an hour later at 12.06am.

No injuries were reported.

The fire was caused accidentally, starting in a cooling unit in the basement.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus as they battled the flames.
