VIDEO: Mark Manning murder investigation officers search Worthing garage

Numerous police cars and scenes of crime vehicles were spotted outside Becket Motors, in Littlehampton Road, from around 9am.

Police put up a tent outside the entrance of the property, which was closed to the public.

An eyewitness told the Herald officers had earlier driven a car parked on the forecourt away from the scene.

Police confirmed the search was in relation to their investigation of Mr Manning’s disappearance.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder by detectives.
