VIDEO: Pensions protest in Steyne Gardens, Worthing

TEACHERS and other public sector workers from across West Sussex gathered in Worthing today (Thursday, June 30) to protest against planned pension changes.

The rally, organised by Worthing Solidarity Network and other unions, was held to coincide with strikes led by the National Union of Teachers and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers.

Protesters met at St Paul’s Community Centre, in Chapel Road, Worthing, before marching to Steyne Gardens to hear speakers from the unions.
