INSPIRED engineers and inventors have built amazing machines to keep them airborne for Worthing Birdman.

Sean Frawley: Aeronautical engineer from Hong Kong.

Tony Hughes: Chief flying in instructor at Wiltshire Microlight Centre.

David Whines: Flying a craft designed by Sussex Coast College students and raising money for the RNLI.

Dr Bill Brooks: Leonardo winner 2010, 2009 and 2008, a microlight designer and test pilot, chairman of the ROyal Aeronautical Society Human Powered Aircraft Group. Flying for Macmillan Cancer Relief.

Scott Wallis: University of Southampton's Flying Dolphin.

James David: Former RAF airframe mechanic raising money for the Royal Air Force Association's Miles More Minutes campaign.
