VIDEO: Worthing Fire Station open day attended by ‘thousands’

TO celebrate its 50th birthday Worthing Fire Station held an open day today (July 28) which was attended by “thousands upon thousands of people”.

The event was also part of the Worthing Festival, which is organised by the Worthing Lions, which had events in Steyne Gardens and Marine Parade.

This video shows some of the stalls, and demonstrations from Worthing firefighters and Sussex police at the fire station, in Ardsheal Road, and Cath Cobden talks about the charity Tracheo-oesophageal Fistula Support (TOFS), one of the principle beneficiaries of the event.
