A red HP laptop was stolen along with a black Samsung Galaxy tablet. A small amount of cash was taken from a wallet.

PCSO Michelle Davies said: “Did you see anything? Do you know who is responsible? Call 101 with any information quoting serial 0168 29/10/14.”

She added: “Please take note of our previous advice. Lock your property securely and do not leave keys in the door. Remove any valuable items from view.”

Top tips to prevent break-ins include leaving lights or a radio on when you go out, check that all doors and windows are properly closed and locked and not leaving side gates open, ensuring they’re secure.

Also, don’t leave accessible windows open at night or leave keys in the locks.
