Met Office issues wind warning as Storm Francis hits Sussex
A yellow warning for wind has been issued across Sussex today as Storm Francis hits.
The warning is in place from 9am to 9pm today (Tuesday, August 25).
The Met Office said there could be disruption to travel and power supplies along with potential damage to trees.
Residents can expect a very wet and windy morning with some gales.
However the rain is expected to clear this afternoon to give way to drier and brighter conditions, according to the Met Office.
Tonight will be largely dry but it will remain very windy in many areas.
