Sunny intervals are forecast to give way to full sunshine later on today, according to the Met Office, as temperatures reach 19 degrees Celsius.
Winds of up to 11mph in some places could bring a welcome breeze, but it looks to be a dry, warm day all round.
The relatively high temperatures will continue into the evening, remaining at around 15 degrees Celsius into the night.
