West Chiltington seniors secure shield
WEST Chiltington Golf Club’s seniors secured victory in the coveted Team Invitation Shield.
The annual Hayward’s Heath invitation took place earlier this month, with teams competing from all over the county, hoping to win the prestigious shield.
West Chiltington took the prize with a score of 106. Heading up the team was captain Richard Burden, Brian O’Neill and Rodney Marsh (all pictured right).
The runners-up were Holtye Golf Club with 98 points, and third were Dale Hill, also with 98 points. The best individual score went to Alan Barrett, with 35 points.
