AN 11-year-old boy from Adur has landed a leading role in the new West End musical production of the classic film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Harry Smith, whose parents Gary and Barbara run the Swiss Cottage pub in Old Shoreham Road, Shoreham, will be taking to the stage alongside co-stars Michael Ball, Brian Blessed and the creator of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Richard O Brien.
