White Ball at Bar Blah

ST LEONARD'S on Sea and the local area has been awash with a variety of late summer events of late, and Bar Blah's 'White Ball' kept the social trend alive as locals flocked to support the annual event.

Proprietor Jason Lunn said he originally came up with the idea to hold the party, with a traditional white theme, in order to mark the end of the summer, and this year the celebrations commemorated four years of the popular Marine Court bar, on St Leonards sea front, being open.

Jason said:

"We're celebrating the fourth year of the bar being open today. The White Ball is something we've always done every year at the end of summer. It gives people the opportunity to dress in white and show off their tan before the winter sets in."

A balmy late summer evening was the perfect backdrop to the party, and on arrival guests enjoyed canaps and bubbly.

DJ Nikki got the party going with a swing, spinning the decks, providing the tunes until the early hours.

Jason said the celebration was, "A great success".
