Project officer Tom Simpson will be leading sessions for wildlife rangers (12-16-year-olds), youth rangers (17-25-year-olds) and a host of other activities for older residents and families, including a gardening for wildlife competition and family activities on the beach.

He will be blogging regularly about his work in the town and encouraging local people to look for seven key species – mermaid’s purse, brimstone butterflies, bumblebees, slow worms, stag beetles, swifts and hedgehogs.
