Woman suffers head injuries after road traffic collision

A woman has suffered head injuries after a road traffic collision early this morning (November 6), police have confirmed.

The incident occurred at 1am in Broadwater Road, Worthing, near the traffic lights, according to police.

A police spokesman said: “A car flipped upside down in Broadwater Road at around 1am this morning.

“A female suffered head injuries.

“The road was closed for a short amount of time whilst the vehicle was recovered.

“The car may have collided with a lamp post before flipping over.”
