Event organiser and artist Malcolm Love spent two years arranging the Life Lines: Drawings from the Life Figure exhibition which includes 58 pieces of work created by 12 artists.

He said: “When I realised so much art activity was going on in the area, much of it very talented, I thought it was a good idea.”

Fifty people attended a private viewing on Saturday.

“They thought it was an excellent show, very well displayed, nicely laid out and hung,” said Malcolm.

A variety of styles were displayed ranging from pencil and charcoal work to contour and academic drawings.

The exhibition is open to the public from 10am to 5pm up until May 29 and admission is free.
