Worthing artists help the homeless

ARTY cakes helped raise more than £100 for charity as part of Worthing Art Trail.

Worthing Art Studios, in King Edward Close, Worthing, was one of the venues on the trail, opening its doors over three weekends in June.

Among the visitors were Worthing mayor and mayoress Michael Donin and Linda Williams, who took time to speak to the artists in their work spaces.

Founding partners Sarah Sepe and Barry Williams welcomed the special guests and introduced them to the studio artists, including Linda Bernhard, whose work was selected to be on the front cover of this year’s trail brochure.

Sarah said: “The studios welcomed lots of visitors over the three weekends and raised more than £100 for Worthing Churches Homeless Projects by serving arty cakes with teas and coffees and asking for donations for this charity.”
