Worthing-based site manager rewarded for his work

THE site manager of a Worthing housing development has been recognised as one of the best in his field after winning a top industry award.

Martin Harvey, project manager at Kier Homes’ The Waterfront Worthing development has been announced as a Quality Award Winner in the first round of the NHBC (National House-Building Council) Pride in the Job Awards.

The awards recognise and reward the UK’s best site managers, with only the top 3 per cent of the 15,000 site managers competing winning an award.

The year-long judging process sees each site manager put through their paces and assessed across 38 areas of site management defined by the NHBC.

Martin, who has worked for Kier Homes for the last 10 years, said: “I’m delighted to have been named as one of the UK’s leading site managers and it’s fantastic recognition for the whole team.”

Mark will now compete to win a Seal of Excellence and/or a Regional Award title.
