Worthing betting shop thieves foiled

A SECURITY guard disturbed would-be thieves who had attempted to get into a Worthing betting shop.

The security guard was walking in the High Street in the early hours of Tuesday, November 17 when he thought he heard noises coming from inside Ladbrokes.

The police were called at 1.40am and discovered the rear door had been attacked with a crowbar but no-one had entered the building.
