Worthing College principal set to leave

The principal of Worthing College, Peter Corrigan, will be leaving his post at the end of August this year.

After 30 years’ service to the college, Mr Corrigan is moving on to other professional opportunities in the further education sector.

On behalf of the college, Chair of Governors Paul Amoo said: “We would like to thank Peter for his achievements, his loyalty, dedication and commitment to students and staff.

“It has been a pleasure to work with him and we wish to express our gratitude to him for having led the move to our outstanding new campus, for achieving an Ofsted ‘Good’ rating in all areas and for leaving the college in a much improved financial position.”

The Governors are currently working on arrangements to appoint a new principal.
