At about 9.35am today (July 2), a collision involving an unmarked police vehicle and a cyclist happened in South Farm Road, Worthing, according to police.
The cyclist sustained minor injuries, police said.
A spokesman added: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
As a result of the incident, the road was partially blocked.
As of lunchtime today, traffic is back to normal.
