The Worthing Scouts are part of ‘Yewnity, Unit 18’, the UK contingent attending the World Scout Jamboree in Kirara-hama, Japan, from July 28 until August 8.
The event, which takes place every four years, brings together 33,000 young people from more than 150 countries.

Jess Plumtree, one of four Yewnity Leaders, added: “We’re extremely excited to get going.”
Their first stop is Tokyo for three days, before they travel by bullet train to Kirara-hama, Yamaguchi City.
They will also visit Hiroshima, marking the 70th anniversary of the dropping of the nuclear bomb in August.
