Worthing drug raid woman jailed

A DRUG dealer arrested after an "unprecedented" police raid in Worthing has been jailed for two years.

More than 40 police officers stormed Victoria Court, in Clifton Road, Worthing, on April 16 of last year, raiding three flats on separate floors.

Monica Langan, 58, was arrested at the scene after officers found heroin, crack cocaine and 925 cash in her home.

On Friday, January 9, she was sentenced at Chichester Crown Court to a total of 24 months imprisonment for possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
