Worthing drug suspect in court

A SUSPECTED Worthing drug dealer has appeared in court after he was arrested following a car crash in Brighton.

Malcolm Howell, 43, from Wyke Avenue, was arrested after his car collided with a taxi and ploughed into a shop window at around 2.45am on Friday, February 6, in Western Road, Brighton, at the junction with Montpelier Road.

He suffered a head injury in the crash and was kept under observation at the Royal Sussex County Hospital overnight before being questioned by detectives on Saturday.

Howell appeared at Brighton Magistrates' Court this morning (Monday, February 9) charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without insurance, failing to provide a sample of blood, assault with intent to resist arrest and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
