Worthing High School put into special measures

AN Ofsted report released today (Tuesday, February 5) into Worthing High School has found it has failed in several key areas of teaching.

Concerns have already been expressed by parents, who are due to meet with the head teacher and governors of the school in a special meeting on Thursday evening.

Ofsted’s verdict comes just weeks after the school’s turbulent transition to an academy, which had sparked several strikes last autumn from staff concerned over potential changes to terms and conditions.
