Worthing home targeted by jewellery thieves

A SECOND house in Worthing has been targeted by jewellery thieves.

The jewellery, worth thousands of pounds, was stolen during a burglary in First Avenue, Worthing, on Thursday, April 22.

The house was broken into some time between 9am and 3.30pm, with a ground floor window forced open to gain entry.

Among the items stolen was a yellow gold bangle with a serpent's head and emerald eyes and an Armani watch with a silver coloured linked bracelet and rectangular mother-of-pearl face.

Detectives are not linking this incident to the burglary in Dagmar Street, Worthing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1486 of 22/4, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
