WORTHING’S jubilee Party on the Prom will go ahead tomorrow (Saturday, June 16) whatever the weather.
Chairman of the working group that organised the event, Tom Wye, said despite the fairly grim weather forecast, he and people of Worthing would not let the rain stop them from celebrated.
If, however, the weather was to become dangerously severe, Tom said a last-minute decision could be taken on tomorrow morning to postpone.
More than 4,000 people are due at the party, which runs from 1-5pm along the seafront.
There will be seating plans and ushers to help people find their allocated tables.
