The two-day event is designed to celebrate the Armed Forces past and present.

A number of attractions and displays were held at the event, organised by Worthing Combined Ex-Services Association.

Attractions included stalls, as well as displays from the Navy and Air Force cadets.

Today (Sunday, June 25), the Drumhead service was carried out, with veterans attending.

There was also a large contingent, around 70 people, from the Far East Prisoners of War Association.

Tom Wye, president of Worthing Combined Ex-Services Association, said: “The event was very well-attended and there were a lot of young people who came. It’s important to engage with young people on these sorts of occasions.”

The association was formed in 1994 and is run by representatives of Ex-Service Associations across Sussex.
