Worthing men charged after drug supply investigation

Police have charged two Worthing men following an investigation into drug supply in the area.

Lewis Moore, 28, of Cheviot Road, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and conspiracy to supply amphetamine.

He appeared at Worthing Magistrates Court on Saturday (February 16) and was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on May 24.

Daniel Simmons, 25, of no fixed address, who is also known as Dollar, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a 39 year-old man in Worthing on February 11.

He appeared at Chichester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, February 13 and was remanded to appear in custody at Worthing Magistrates court on Tuesday, February 19.

Detective Sergeant Alex Lowe said: “We are always keen to hear from anyone who has information about local drug dealing and any related offending.
