Worthing nurseries working hard to stay open

Among the ones battling against the elements is Early Years Childcare, in Poulters Lane, Worthing.

The nursery has said all the staff have been monitoring local travel and weather updates, responding to parents queries, as well as offering advice on travel routes.

Early Years Childcare’s managing director, Kate Peach, said it was important for it to be business as usual to help parents continue their working week without disruption.

She said: “We understand some of our parents do not have the option of staying at home with their children or are unable to find alternative day care at such short notice.

“We are offering a service and we will continue to do so as best we can in the current conditions.”
