Worthing pedestrian injured in Southwater collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A24 near Horsham at 5.40pm on Wednesday January 29.

The 52-year-old man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton to be treated for a broken ankle and cuts and brusies after being hit by a blue Vauxhall Corsa.

Moments before the collision the man had been seen walking alongside the northbound A24, and it is believed that he then went to cross over the road and was struck.
