Worthing planners approve home in garden

WORTHING planners have given the go-ahead to a revised application to build a two-storey, three-bedroom, end-of-terrace house in the large side garden of 31 Coleridge Close.

The planning committee, which met at the end of last month, also approved the conversion of Rosedale House guest house, at 12 Bath Road, into one one-bedroom and two two-bedroom flats.

An officers’ report said the loss of a guest house from the visitor economy was regrettable, but acceptable in view of its non-viability.
