Worthing police link burglaries in Findon and High Salvington

BURGLARIES at homes in High Salvington and Findon Valley may be linked, say police.

Jewellery was taken from homes in Furze Road and Shepherds Mead in separate break-ins on Friday, April 3.

The Furze Road burglary took place between 3.15pm and 3.35pm, when burglars entered by forcing open a side window.

A men's Tag Heuer wristwatch, a ladies' signet ring engraved with the initials WB, and a number of gold, diamond and sapphire rings were among items stolen, described as having "extreme sentimental value" by police.

The Findon Valley burglary took place between 8.45am and 7pm, when jewellery was stolen after the thieves broke in by using a spade to force open a patio door.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious around either location should contact police on 0845 6070 999.
