Worthing students celebrate A-level results success

HUNDREDS of Worthing students are collecting their A-level results today.

The nervous teenagers have been queuing all morning for their results to find out if they are going to university.

Colleges across the area are reporting record results with the introduction of a new A* grade.

Worthing College celebrated their best ever results today (August 19), with 98.3% of A-level students passing.

"These results are just rewards for the continued hard work, dedication and effort of young people and staff," said principal Peter Corrigan.

"We wish our students every success in their future at university or in the world of work."
