Worthing’s Southern Pavilion finds a buyer

TALKS are in advanced stages to turn Worthing’s Southern Pavillion into a multi-purpose venue which will primarily host weddings.

Worthing Borough Council are working with local businessman Phil Duckett, who is seeking planning permission for the venue.

The 1930s building, used as a night club for many years, will be sympathetically restored back to its original Art Deco period style and transformed into a multi-purpose venue.

The principal use for the building will be to host weddings and to provide a cafe with outside seating.

It will also be available to hire for a wide variety of events including parties, conferences, themed nights, charity events and community projects.
