A musical treat

I would like to inform all residents of a musical treat starring a true Worthing rose who will undoubtedly be a household name in the not too distant future.

She is currently studying in Wales and is rarely able to treat us to a rendition of her truly marvellous talents so do not miss this opportunity to hear a star of the future.

On Saturday, August 17, at St Andrew’s Church, Tarring, at 7.30pm, the wonderfully talented Jacquelyne Hill (BBC Choir Girl of the Year 2009) will be singing with the tenor Matthew Clark, soprano Louise Weeks and local youngsters Holly Paige and Emma Stevens, in a charity concert.

All proceeds will be split between St Barnabas and the Iceland Charitable Foundation, who are supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK this year.

The programme will include some opera and music from shows and musicals.

Light refreshments are included in the price of the ticket. This represents the best value for money you are likely to find in Worthing, as a ticket will cost you just £8 and can be ordered from K. Hill, on 01903 202522, myself, on 01903 267227, or from Blossoms the Florist, in Rectory Road, Tarring. Please come and enjoy the wonderful singing of Jacquelyne, Matthew, Louise, Holly and Emma and support two excellent charities at the same time.
