ONE reads with sadness of two arson attacks in Lancing.
But, hey, we have a security camera in Lancing, just by the Post Office, not more than a few metres away from the first fire, so the camera should have seen it being lit, and then followed the arsonist(s) over the railway line and its watcher informed the police to catch them before they started the second fire.
This scenario, of course, asks the questions... why didn’t the camera see this?
It also asks the question, where are the police at night in Lancing?
Maybe the camera people should be apologising to the fire brigade for such total inefficiency.
One, of course, daren’t ask if the arsonsist will ever be caught!
