I WAS very pleased to see the feature about the Don’t Cut Us Out campaign in the Herald, highlighting the campaign against West Sussex County Council’s cuts to the funding of care services.
However, I would like to acknowledge the support the group from St Michael’s, High Salvington, received from other Worthing churches and the community at large.
We collected more than 700 signatures in total, made up of 220 from St Michael’s, 100 from St Mary of the Angels, Richmond Road, and 100 from the New Life Church in Durrington. The remaining signatures were collected in the community and online.
I would like to thank all those who supported us and look forward to a large turnout at County Hall on May 13 and a successful outcome.
