Don’t strike it out

OVER the past 10 years, I have enjoyed playing ten pin bowling with the Ladies Leisure League.

Tuesday mornings are sacrosanct – those 10 pins come first.

I was devastated to hear of its possible closure.

Why does the council wish to close a venue catering for clubs, families of all ages and the disabled?

So many people from aged five to 85 enjoy the facilities and the bowling. Where else would you find such entertainment in Worthing?

If we did wish to continue bowling, we would have to travel to another town in Sussex, driving people away from Worthing, thereby taking even more trade from the town.

I wish AMF a future in Worthing.
