Essential pot holes are filled

IT is to be hoped that the Highways Agency does a complete job this year and fills the pot holes not only from this year, but also the ones they did not fill in after last year’s wintery weather.

As a cyclist, I am daily in danger of being thrown off my bike, especially those at the side of the roads.

We hear there are millions of pot holes in the United Kingdom, but let us not forget the many millions of pounds paid in road tax by all vehicles in the UK, except, of course, cycles, but that said, there should be more than enough money for road surfaces – if, indeed, that money is not syphoned off for other things.

Therefore, we road users should demand that all repairs are carried out.
